Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ½ cup Margarina La Favorita at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease and flour a cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the Margarina La Favorita and sugar until creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in the orange juice and orange zest, and mix well.
  • In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing and cooling completely on a wire rack.
  • Cut into slices and serve.
