  • 2 boxes (3.3 oz) white chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 4 cups half and half
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip thawed
  • 1 angel food cake cut into cubes
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries

Garnish

  • 8 ounces Cool Whip thawed
  • additional sliced or halved strawberries (for garnish)

Preparation Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the white chocolate instant pudding mix and the half and half until dissolved and thickened. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove the pudding from the fridge and gently stir in the Cool Whip.
  • Layer the trifle in a glass dish starting with angel food cake cubes, followed by sliced strawberries, then white chocolate pudding mixture.
  • Repeat the layers until almost full, finishing with a layer of Cool Whip.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Before serving, garnish with additional strawberries.

Notes

Store-bought angel food cake and Cool Whip are used for easy prep. Adjust chill time for preferred softness and flavor melding.
